NATURE IN CHARGE

Nature in Charge is a ongoing project about human–nature connectedness.
Human–nature connectedness is the extent to which individuals include nature as part of their identity. It embodies the understanding that humans are not separate from nature but are an integral part of it. The disconnection from nature is often cited as one of the significant challenges facing contemporary populations. It leads to mental health issues, decreased well-being, lack of environmental awareness, unsustainable behaviors, loss of biodiversity and even organizations such as the UN recognize that the failing human relationship with nature is an underlying cause of the environmental crises. This documentary explores the complex relationship between humanity and the natural world by portraying individuals deeply integrated into nature. In an era marked by widespread disconnection from the environment, this documentary focuses on the perspectives of those living closely with nature. The aim is to show that living alongside nature is our only viable path. Ignoring this reality leads to worsening well-being and societal issues.​
